- Personal information of the patient (such as name, resident registration number, address, phone number, and mobile number) along with the insurance policy number of the insured (including name and resident registration number).
- If desired, approximately 80% of the results can be provided on the day of the examination. Final results will be available in a week.
- The medical checkup basically includes an ophthalmic examination, hearing examination, blood test, urine/feces test, gastric endoscopy (UGI), abdominal sonogram, pulmonary function test, chest X-ray, electrocardiogram, gynecologic test, anus examination, dental examination, and more. Furthermore, if desired, some selective and specific examinations are available at an additional cost.
- It takes approximately 3 ~ 4 hours starting at 8:30 in the morning.Please note that conscious sedation endoscopy requires an additional 30 minutes ~ 1 hour (for the time to administer the sedation).
- The ingestion of food further activates metabolism and thus lowers the test accuracy (sonogram). Also, any foreign substances inside the body disable endoscopy and UGI.
Therefore, there should be no ingestion of food or liquids of any kind (including water, candy, gum, etc.) before the examination.
